not long now fellas ;D any final decisions made yet? what times the draw how longs the match?? see ya there Id go for a five hour myself. Myabe fish from 10-3? Any new members who have joined us recently are welcome if you like to join us. Its at the Old Roan section of the cut on the 11th of this month.

Ryan,the Ormskirk trains leave Kirkdale station at 18 minutes past the hour and 48,I think the first ones 8.18 on a Sunday but go to the station and check.

I had a practice session there yesterday, only had one perch. Must admit the rod I was using was 3ft, the line about 6lb and a dart float (don't see many of them round anymore.)
So I didn't do too bad. I took the missus and the kids all four of them.

That's strange, under my 'reverse fishing' hypothesis, you should have bagged up on bits with kit like that.....
I shall explain this approach in depth on Sunday, and perhaps give a demonstration during the match (which should be a laugh for all who watch).
Now the question is, do i go for a few hours practice on my local canal on Saturday, or do I not risk the likelyhood of all my kit getting robbed, blown up, broken by my feet etc, and spend the day sorting, tying dingles etc?
Have to say, Can't wait for the match.
