Please post here if you are interested.
Maybe sometime in June?
Let is know so we can get an idea if one is worth organising.
We can then sort out a venue......
So far......

For somebody like me who is not used to match fishing. Can someone lay down some basic rules.
Can you bait up before the whistle? If your playing a fish on the end whistle, how long do you get?
If we can lay down the rules on here it would be a start and everyone wil know the score.

Right then Let me Start.
5 hour matches
besides the obvious like.
1. No bait to enter the water before the ALL IN 2. No more than 1 hook on any rig. 3. Only 1 Rod allowed to be used at any time. 4. all fish hooked must be landed at your designated peg ( so if you hook a big carp and you have to go walk about with the pole then you must walk the fish back to your peg to land it). I've seen someone have a 9lb carp scratched off because of that. 5. All fishery rule must be observed at all times. 6. 20 mins will be allowed after the all out for people to pack their poles away in case of any damage during the weigh in.

Seems as most people are from liverpool area that we should try and keep it as close to home as possable, how about Bannisters,Six fields or Martin Hall. The likes of Hampton Springs etc have to be booked years in advance and will require deposits.

Thats a very good point that, I remember one year we fished at Hampton Springs he had closed the whole of rock pool and only 17 members showed up and he made us pay for the whole lot every peg on the lake.

11th June is good for me too. I will fish most places, within reason e.g. Whiteacres is too far! Lathom fisheries & Fir tree spring to mind, if they're not booked up that is.

I don't really want to suggest this but I will anyway Martin Hall is only 21 miles away from ours.
Very rarely matches on, and on the match lake there is 20 - 25 pegs which looks like it will be ideal.

Ok scratch Green lane then!
I've not fished Martin Hall, willing to give it a go though. There seem to be plenty of names down already so 20-25 pegs is a good call.

Thats the reason I have suggested it really, (not because I fish there Regular or nothing) . No in truth I have only fished there about 5 times

Martin Hall sounds good to me, you'll need to go and see if its free and book it, see if we can pay for the pegs we use. Some places charge you a fixed price for the lake.
