here you are dave herethe old roan is a pub, theres a train station right next to it funny enough called the old roan, you get onto the canal by going up the hill (its the bridge over the canal) and walking down some steps, dead easy you can park your car in the pub or the british legion car park

Just loking through some of the replys. It seems everyone can get to the Old Roan But not Bannisters.
The problem with the cut is we may have to book through the LDAA. Now, as I expect, on the day some people may not turn up due to unforseen circumstances. We will still have to pay the peg fees, so this will have to come from the winnings. Now if we go to Bannister we will not need to book as we can just turn up to fish. This means more winnings and I feel a better day as the fishing will be better.
Maybe we can sort out a lift for the guys who cannot make it to Banninsters. As we all live local I think maybe this is possible
See what you guys think. Lets try to help each other out here guys.
If anyone has a space in thier car please let us all know.
Thanx
Bri

Normally my car with all the tackle in can only fit for 2.. but I was wondering isit possible to pull all the rods into one car / 2cars and ease up the rest for space to drive people there..

Seems as most people are from liverpool area that we should try and keep it as close to home as possable, how about Bannisters,Six fields or Martin Hall. The likes of Hampton Springs etc have to be booked years in advance and will require deposits. good idea Alan, actually Mathew and me has thought of Lingmere Match Lake. Quality fish there mates. Six fields a bit bored as only half to 1lb F1, but it's non-stop action.
