Venue is booked, just need to confirm final FM numbers so that I can arrange payment for pegs.
Can I suggest that we set a deadline of Monday 9th October for agreeing final numbers.
Cheers

Still some debate on our numbers, 4 look certain, could be 7.
Are we treating this as a social event, or do you want a draw, all in, all out and weigh in?

Roll on Sunday Just bring what you would normally take to the canal. There are now 20 new permanent pegs at Sluice Farm which were finished today (myself and Tabby were the first people to use them). They are all on a stretch which is almost uniform in appearance and is very sheltered from the wind which was ripping across the fields today - we fished in relatively warm conditions given that anglers further up had woolly hats, big coats and gloves on. The club will probably use these new pegs to alternate venues for the club matches, so those who turn up next week will be the first to fish a match on them.

I asked that question Dave to the lads on Southprt Angling. At first they told me to use boillies, pellets, carrots, peas and method mix ;D (I think they are scared) They then put me on the straight and narrow by telling me the proper stuff to use. As you say Dave, magotts, worm, and hemp should work with a peice of corn every now and again. Im bringing the above plus some bread as you say. See you there Dave.
