Fished it today, had quite a few skimmers and carp to 2lb on luncheon meat using the tip, two metres from the far bank picked 98% of the fish up.
other anglers catches included roach a couple of feet under the surface using the pole.

Just a few then its great parking, yer can see yer car in this area also good fishing round the corner.... and you've all seen these before me luncheon meat and me rig...on the conveyor belt .

Facing the angler sitting on the left bank is where I sat some years back and caught from the margins, a 10lb carp, wonder how big it is now?. ;D

A good venue on the card is Dig Pit at the back of Carr Mill Dam, a chap I spoke to the other day reckons they took most of the pike out of there. One day while having a sesh, right in front of me, about 25 yards stood a heron, when suddenly a pike made a dive for it, it was an amazing sight, wish I'd had me camera rolling then.
