dave i'll tell you why its banned - he told me on the phone that some young kids threw loads of slices of bread into the lake whilst a match was going on and a load of ducks landed on the lake that were after the bread hence it didnt help matters in the match , its not fair on other anglers really as why should we suffer just because of some kids stupidity ? its a shame cos for me breadpunch was one of the best baits when ive fished there in the winter .

I know we are going to respect the bait bans on rufford meadow, but i'can't understand that bread punch is on the list of banned baits. punch is hardly going to sour the water i know you associate bread punch with groundbait . but you can catch well without any groundbait, anyhow thats my moan out the way.
