Im looking at booking four matchs next year,in March ,June,Sep and December.
Already have Marchs sorted, depending on football fixtures etc, will probably be the first or second Sunday at Carr Side Farm.
Does anybody have any other venue ideas they want me to look into?

Alan, A few suggested sites for future matches, would be happy to help out with organising if you need any help! - The match stretch on SDDA waters can be booked out to non club members
- If the Christmas match is a success we could have another visit there
- There is always the canal
- I think there are a couple of small carp water who may allow matches on, the ones I'm thinking of are around the Ormskirk area.

how about a carp hole, a lake with mixed fishing in, a drain and a canal, a bit of everything really, im sure we could work out a points system quite easy and total them up to have an overall winner something like that

We'll go with the mixed venues.Carr Side Farm in March good mixed venue and should still fish in the winter.Carp puddle in June.SDAA drain in September and the Christmas match on the canal in the December.
Should we start the points system from this years Christmas match and run it over five matchs, finishing next December. We could use everybodys best four results which means everybody could miss one match or drop a match they didnt do well in.

Thats what you want, dont forget it'll be early March and itll still be cold.Iv broken the ice on there with matt82 and had a fish a chuck.Agreed theirs lots of rudd and roach,it'll make a change from carp, carp and more carp.
He doesnt normally allow matchs,so weve been lucky hes going to let us on there.Jamie if you know a venue which will fish better at this time of year let me know and Ill see what I can do.

looking forward to it. The last match I fished at Carr Side I was third. It was a club match on the Ringmaiden lake. The only place I've ever caught on a hook without bait.
