Today brought 2 church mates to Lingmere. One of them just started fishing last year and this was his 2nd trip but still hasn't got a fish yet. Another mate had joined me once at GreenBank though and was catching perch then. So anyway peg up and I began to teach them the basics and the importance of feeding. Which is one key factor that I notice quite abit in fisheries that people tend to neglect. After setting them up, I begin to feed regularly by hand for them by the margins. I was the bait man/net man/guide the whole day And true enuff, fish was been landed. But because of their inexperience they lost 2 big ones which I'm pretty sure it was way above the 4lb mark and it pulled my grey hydro like a run away train to the snags. Well I think that experience would "poison" them even deeper into fishing Well when it was time to go, no one blanked, a couple of rigs were tangled which I kinda expected for first timers, but most importantly all had fish and had fun... Should be taking them to 6 fields some time next week on my off day and I hope that they would enjoy it there even mroe with the F1's Mathew

lingmere is my local i often fish it, but unfortunately with exams haven't been for about a month . the green koi swim stim mixed into a paste does well but its a bit tricky keeping it on the hook. the pleasure lake i find fishes alot better and has a lot more cover from the wind which is helpfull for fishing with the pole.
