As some of you have read Mathew's post, we didn't have a very good start, nearly got a car accident, and we hit a bird on the way...
Anyway we start our session at around 6:30am, we chose the pegs last time we visited there.
Weather was sunny with a bit of wind to our pegs. Mathew started off on the feeder while I sticked to my pole, I had a good start with several fish 4lb - 7lbs, while mathew was also catching.
There were lots of fish crusing on the surface, obviously not feeding on the bottom. But as we don't have suitable float and baits we just sticked to our usual methods. We were catching "OK" but fish size was smaller than those people using floating bait. Though we still managed a few nice fish.
Mathew's nice fish of the day.
that's my best fish of the day, a bit thin and should be short of double figures.
Again Mathew attacked the margin, kept feeding the pellets and you could see the fin of the big carps in 1 feet of water!
Well we left there at around 2pm, and my bro. Mathew lost his wallet so we went back to the fishery to look for it, then we stucked on the highway. Mathew called the RAC that we got sorted and got home at 6pm...
Today I elasticated a top with about 2M of pink bungee 14-16. Didn't get use to it as it's not as strechy as the maver 12-20 I always use. And that matched with the s***e new Gamakatsu Super-G line (0.14) + s***e Tubertini 175 hook resuted hook pull, lost fish, snapped line... THAT COST ME MORE THAN 10 NICE FISH!!!!
Mathew also got snapped 2 times, I'll equiped with the trusty shimano silk shock 0.16 next time.
(Sorry that we can't provide the location, honestly there's quite complicated to go and we gotta repect the guy who told us that venue.)
