alan, i've just started fishing the Cut Properly and the only problem i'm having is tie-ing a light tracve at the bottom the problem is.. i dont know how to do it.. but other than that i'm fine

Cyprinus mate I would recommend you use a loop-to-loop knot to tie your hooklengths on with. This way you can have loads of hooklengths ready tied and if you need to change your hook it will take you 15 seconds! Just make sure your loops are fairly small for the sake of neatness.

Mathew mathew "the cut" is a liverpool term for the canal,our end is run by liverpool and district , their year book is about £20 no day tickets, maghull and district have a stretch that ive been told is day ticket and as you go further out its under the wigan and district anglers, again a year book and no day tickets

if your using the loop to loop method,i can recommend the sensas loop tyer,keeps your loops all the same size and very neat
