You all probably know that this place is superb so I wont bother with a full report. All in all it was a great week, so much so that we decided not to fish the last day as we were all fished out. You cannot fail to catch in this place and I now have a right arm like Popeye The fish themselves average around the six pound mark so its action all the way. Although there are a couple of lakes that hold fish around the two pound mark, hundreds of them !!!! A bite a chuck is an understatement. Anyway enough of my ramblings I will let the pictures tell the story. Another rod bender. Resulted in another Carp. And one for Toryboy. Also in the pole. Even more Carp. Er, another Carp. And another for Toryboy. Now thats ugly !!!! Yet another rodbender. Toryboy in again. And yes, you guessed it. Another Carp. Good fishing all round. The best day I had was about 80lb of Carp ranging from 1lb to the 9lb 8oz. My biggest of the week. Im a lazy angler and I am sure a more competent angler than me would at least double the amount I caught. ;D ;D ;D ;D

Kick there is a smaller section on this lake as you go in on the right. Most of the people on that day seemed to rush for there and had some nice fish. We never got there but still had a good day but it may be worth getting there. Oh and i hope your good at finding places in the middle of the country with no directions cos they got no maps and the directions aint good ether.

They look like established waters not like most mud puddles which open up as so called fisheries

They look like established waters not like most mud puddles which open up as so called fisheries They are very mature. The only downside is the fish are a bit rough and battered. What part are you staying in JP?
