Iv just read on MDs that there has been a major fish kill on Bannister Farm, I think it was on the new canal but apparently theirs Carp floating everywhere and all over the banks the smell is awefull,I havent seen this myself this is just what Iv read.

Doesnt surprise me Alan. Its not the best maintained fishery I have seen. Still, its not very nice though.

i mentioned to my old man i might be fishing a match at bannisters, and he had only bad comments to make about the place.

im disgusted that the owner would open his waters with a problem on that scale,hope he has informed the EA

Alledgally the owner and the EA dont see eye to eye, the last time the EA gave him a "visit" he asked them to leave very politely alledgally

good point about the nets bri,but how many fisherys have good fresh dips?my local has one but it looks full of stagnent water and never used!and im struggling to think of any on big club waters maybe if the"owner" had allowed the EA onto his fishery this could have been avoided
