i fished it today i was in the corner by the big tree trying to get out of the wind,i started off on the pole at 11m and had one bite after 2 hours so threw a feeder out towards the snag, pellet in a small cage feeder with corn on the hook, first cast and the rod flew round with a nice bream that i lost at the net, same thing next cast again the hook pulled ( i should of stuck a bigger hook than the 16 i was on at this point i know ) a couple of little tench showed and then something big and heavy snagged me in , i gave it a bit of slack and it came out of the snag after 5 minutes only to lose it soon after some more tench kept me interested untill the rod got dragged off the rod rest and into the water , i had to jump in and wade after it to get it back, the fish was off by the way when i reeled in oh how the boys laughed i can tell you, why do things like that always happen when theres an audiance ah well i soon dryed off on the way home, it wasnt a pretty site me in my undies trying to wring my kecks out

Pure class dave ,did anybody get a photo.About ten years ago I was fishing the canal at the Ship Inn with my mate, two other anglers were fishing at the other end of the stretch, when I dropped a section of my pole in the canal ,it sank like a sub straight into the middle. So I stripped off and jumped in anyway I found the section but stood on it while looking.A few days later I bumped into a mate and he told me he'd had a good day on the Ship and that some idiot was swimming in the canal in the middle of December,I didnt have the balls to tell him it was me.

Dave, you should wear chest waders even coarse fishing, not just fishing Harrison Drive mate..
