The best way to get to tree tops is to start at the tree,s bottom.

The only 2 I can think of up the M58 are Abbey lake and the old comrades pond in the woods on the right just before the turn off to the concourse. The only tree tops is the one that Bri mentioned by Wrexham which is trout fishing. When you find out you will have to let us know.

Leave the M58 at the Bickerstaffe exit, bear right and go under the motorway as if you're heading for Rainford.
There's a lake in the trees on the opposite side of the road from the restaurant (which is on the left) which I have heard referred to a Tree Tops.
When I've been going back into Liverpool in the wagon I've seen the lake thanks to the height of the cab over the road, but it can't be seen from a car.
