well unless you can make it worth there while i think you aint got much chance. You need to get a mag there or summat to plug the place or tackle shop mate.

Cancer research is one close to my heart. You can find out about organising events for them here. Although I feel a local charity would be better for obtaining prizes from local tackle shops as this will bring them better publicity. Dont forget all the major tackle manufactures. E-mail them or give thier head office a ring. You wont need a free venue. Just charge the anglers as normal peg fees plus a match fee. The owner might give you a better rate if he knows its a charity match. All the more money for the good cause then. You might be better asking on MDs as I have seen a few on there and they will show you the right way. I wish you luck Jamie and if I can attend I will.

do you think i could get angling times, or anglers mail to come? You would be better asking Dave Houghton. He writes an angling column in the echo every thursday. He also does the northwest reports for either the mail or times, cant remember which one.

Nice one Jamie. I would be more than happy to help if you need it. Tabby Me too - my employers quite often like to get involved in things like this, so I will enquire when I go back in (if I ever get back to work, that is)
