Whats your favourite fish?
Mine has to be the Crucian Carp. Lovely golden colour and a mean son of a bitch that gives one hell of a scrap for thier size on light tackle.
If I coud only catch one type of fish for the rest of my life it would br these babies. ;D

I really dont know. I love to catch crucians and we have some absolute stonkers in my club waters and genuine crucians too but isnt there something on an autumn day about a net of quality brilliant silver roach caught on the hemp and caster. How about going on my local River Wye and banging out a huge net of dog chub?? Not that it happens these days very often lol. Barbel are fantastic but are they as beautiful as a big stripey??? I will have to do another 50 years research and get back to you on this. lol

.....but then again, Tench could be my favourite as you cant beat the anticapation when your float is surrounded by the bubbles as you sit waiting for that tell tale bite.
And then all hell breaking loose when you lip it. ;D
