Had a few hours here this morning. Started off at 7 am on expander pellet and didn't get a touch for the first hour and a half. Switched to single maggot on size 18 un - weighted. Started catching a fish a chuck although most were small roach and Rudd.
Kept feeding a second line with pellets and eventually started to see signs of fish.
Switched back on to the pellet and had 5 small Crucian and a small tench.
Went back on to the maggot line and continued having fun, eventually packed up at 12.30 after about 40 to 50 Rudd and roach biggest about 8oz plus the Crucian and tench mentioned.
At one point a monster carp went berserk and started jumping all over the place around my swim - must have recognised me from last time and decided to ruin my swim.
Enjoyed it pity that no biggies showed up this week.
