All I wanted was just 10lb worth of slivers which I aimed to target them on Maggots and Pinkies. However instead I had about an estimated 40lb worth of fish. A total of 10 tench ranging from 3lb to 5lb, 1 crucian, 10+ roach and 6 perch. Constant cupping in of feed for my pellet line prove successful after 2 hrs. When I finally noticed a sudden huge area of fusion bubbles. I hurried to change to my heavier elastic and hooked a pellet. First chuck and within secs a tench was on..Came in and what a beauty it was... estimated 4lb worth of solid olive green... Out went another cup of feed and back to my sliverfish fishing but then again within 3mins another fusion was sighted. And soon true enough I was into another tench. It left me wondering by then to just fish for the big ones... As everytime I try to fish for the small ones, the big fish would have already homed into the feed... This routine seem to keep on going for the next few hours which saw me land quite a decent bag at GreenBank. It was properly my best fishing day at GreenBank ever since I started pole fishing. I fished it from 730 to 1230 as I told myself if I had 10 tench, I would get off and let someone esle have a go... What a nice day it was.. My bag of tench One of the nice olive green tench. Me with one of the nicer tench. Mathew

Cheers Mate.. I guess I was just lucky to be there at the right time and the right place.. I went back there 2hrs later to see how the lad was getting on after he move over to my place and I gave him all my bait and pellets.. According to him only had roach no tench at all.. But after watching him for awhile I noticed that he doesn't seems to be feeding as often as me. And was spraying in bait rather then cupping it in. So I reckon it's about constant and accurate feeding would get the fish in GreenBank into the mood. Well I'll be back tomorrow again in the wee morning at about 630am. Hoping to try bread on the surface to catch a carp or something like that.. I should be there till about 1130am. So if anyone is coming by just drop over and say hi Kevin ya interested? Mathew
