Arrived at my local pond at around 7.30am. A few people were already fishing so I fished a peg on the empty side. I set up 3 lines of attack - silvers close in, bream about 7m out and a feeder for the carp (to the back of the lilies in pic)

I started off close in for small silvers and got a few nice roach.
Here is a pic of the biggest roach.

I noticed a strange dark shadow next to my feet. I don't know whether you can see from this pic but it was a big carp 10lb+ and looked like it was in distress
Anyways I moved to the bream swim after seeing lots of bubbles and feeding activity. I fished a small pellets and straight away bumped a fish of (what I believe was a small tench). The swim went a bit quiet but I stuck with it. The float slowly went under and I struck into this beautiful tench estimated at around 2lb.
[glow=red,2,300]Nice Tench[/glow]
The day seemed to be going well UNTIL .......
I got off my box to go walkabouts, spun around on the seatbox and knocked (YES i mean KNOCKED) the pole and SNAP!! Clean breakage in the section just after the topkit
This is when I realised it was time to go to the feeder so I clipped up the line tight to the back of the pads and cast out my feeder. I had a mixture of groundbaits and my OWN secret paste (not yours John if your reading LOL). I sat for 10 mins waiting for the tip to pull around..
[glow=red,2,300]C'mon...[/glow]
15 Mins later and a complete wrap around LOL.
I continued to catch more carp and it was in turn a fantastic days fishing apart from the breakage (it never is perfect )
[glow=red,2,300]Pics of all the carp (6)[/glow]
So thats 6 carp (biggest 7lb) + 1 tench (2lb) + 4 roach + 1 perch = 12 fish in total. Hope its like this next time I go ;D
