Decided I needed a moral boost so headed for Six Fields,we arrived mid morning and set up in the only two peg were you could get your box down to water level opposite the island. The wind was quite strong from left to right so fished half way across to the island, feed a large pot of mixed pellets, corn and maggots.First chuck on a maggot and the float shot under and the first of many F1s was in the net, topping up every dozen fish with half a cup of mixed pellets kept the fish intrested for the whole session. We lost count of how many we caught and at the end of the session and even tried right under our feet loose feeding pellets by hand and again that float kept going under.Packed in just after four as the sky went black and it started raining as we finished getting the gear in the car,if you havent been give it a go. Tight Lines Alan.

It could do with a few decent pegs cut out. That was the only problem i found.

Alan I guess you set up at the same peg as mine last time...... it's at open water, the only place I can put my rucksack on and sit on it.
As you can see there's no any sign along the road to the fishery, and there's no proper pegs, I wonder the owner really want to do business or what.

you are right jackpike. I think not many people really know, or go to that fishery as there's no any sign and no proper pegs. There's 1300 F1s + some other fish there!
Last time I went there I felt like the fish were STARVING. Whenever I fed the fish got crazy in my swim and I put a bait in other swim where I didn't feed on, still caught fish. FISH EVERYWHERE.

I did speak to the owner and he told me that he didnt think the lake was in the best location and they were considering digging another lake on land next to the main road and moving the fish,he also told me that because the lake is out the way and that they dont live in the house next to it that they were having problems with people taking fish, one group of lads were using them as pike bait on the drain behind. Its a great lake decent surroundings but Id prefer a bit more variety a few tech would be nice. Alan
