This one was a Tail of two halves (get on the pun). Fished the old snake pit again, dad was on peg 3 I was on peg 4. Seen the fish knocking the stick ups so thought I don't wanna lose any gear today set up with an inline middy hi-vis pellet float (the white bodied ones) think it was 4 x 12. 5lb main line to 2.5lb hook-length the Ultegra stuff not sure on the diameter. Fed half a cup full of micros and feeder pellets on one line and sweetcorn and meat on the other about a metre to the right where the next gap in the sticks were. Anyway first go in produced this what looks to be a leather carp apart from a few scales you can't see on the photo. followed quickly by these Anyway a fair few more were put in the net. Then a bumped a two fish and it died for about 3 hours. Thats when my dads caster line on the inside took off and he was into crucian after crucian after crucian along with this mangy yet half decent carp. I added a barbel or two. My net. Dads Net. Both nets were boosted by skimmers, roach and Rudd, we both had over 20lb each so not too bad.

You know the car park in between the old snake pit and the old lake. Well when you get out of you car walk round to the left as you are looking at the snake it the first peg round the bend so you are facing the car park is peg one mate. That has some flag Iris as a feature. Peg two has nothing. Peg 3 is where the stick ups start. I hope that helps ya because after readin it back Even I'm lost.
