If people are aware of this fantastic fishery they will agree on 3 things.
1)extremely picturesque 2)good features huge beds of lilly pads on almost every peg 3)how extremely difficult it is to locate the fishery in the 1st place.
anyway onto the fishing.
Arrived 6am choice of all pegs decided to fish as short as possible to one of the many pacthes of lilly pads so decided due to the wind to fish comfortably @ 6mtrs.
fished 6mm expanders over micros and dead red maggots and couldnt fail all day as usual with this place.
Numerous crucian carp, skimmers and 2 good carp 1@ 7lb , 1@ 7.5lb was a good return.
this place is so clean and well kept as in the summer people walk around in there bare feet!!
sorry no pics this time but there will be in future reports.

Thats just what I was going to ask dave,I think their might also be a lake on the left with electric cables going over the top. If its the same place my friend was fishing there a few years ago and a women came round and checked if he was using a barbed hook with a glove. He told me that he had picked a rig out of his box that had a micro barbed hook by accident ,when checked he was asked to leave the lake and was banned even though he explained it was an accident.

bit harsh to say the least the barbed hook incident.
although saying that the woman that came round is the owner, she doesnt advertise the fishery with a sign outside or anything like that hence the difficulty finding the place.
she has a her regulars plus any newcomers are more than made welcome, i was a few ago.
she told me when she did have a sign in place there used to be people coming to the place on a summers day just to have a picnic or you would have kids running around the place.

yes ive fished it a couple of weeks ago, even thogh it was pissing down and blowing a gale we still managed a fish a chuck, mainly skimmers but with the odd tench, carp, orfe, etc etc thrown in
i woudnt bother about being banned, just go back, in a couple of weeks i doubt if she will remember you, just be more carefull about the barbless hooks (saying that i dont know if i checked i had a barbless hook on when i fished it so it could of been me in the same predicament)
