This morning Mathew and me arrived Lingmere Fishery at around a quater past eight. We were surprised that there're like 6 or 8 anglers fishing there already in that kind of weather. We just chose 2 pegs at the entrance of the pleasure lake which back to the wind, then set up. Fishing was a bit slow as expected, but not the worst I think. Mathew caught this lovly mirror at 10o'clock and a few more carps and 2 tenchs during the session. Mathew the SKIMMER MAN that managed 6 nice size skimmers, some over a pound. Forgot to mention he caught 2 3inch roach to add more fun in the session. Today I was the TENCH MAN , managed 8 tenches and one's around 2.5lb mark, 3 small carps 2 skimmers and one roach. And I caught my favourite fish a CRUCIAN CARP, should be over 1lb, happy me. Funny thing is the bites was slow but quite steady in rain, when the sun came out at noon, bite dropped and we only managed a few fish. We packed up at 2pm and went shopping at Moreton Angling Centre, bought some baits and prepare for a SERIOUS HUNTING SESSION tomorrow.

He was fishing on a bed of swim stim pellets with either a 4mm or 6mm expander pellet I reckon.. As for me I was using groundbait and feeder pellets on a 4mm Expander. Tried red maggots however, the only fish that came out of it was a 2" roach!!! on a size 20 hook Anyway best of luck tomorrow mate.. As for us we would be trying out a fishery somewhere in Wrexham, heard that it's fishing well with over 100lb+ carp last week by my mates. Average from 2lb to 8lb. Will have to check it out tomorrow to see if it's true Mathew
