This is a club water run by Clincton anglers, just off the A562 Speke - Widnes link road. maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=clincton+woods&ie=UTF8&ll=53.36378,-2.778511&spn=0.005596,0.01399&om=1 From the A562 Speke road turn into Everite road until you reach the T junction. Turn left into Ditchfield road, after 400yards turn left into Oakfield Drive then left into Lakeside Close. Just before the end again turn left and there is an opening on the right just big enough for a car to get through which leads on to a car park for the Nature reserve. If you look at the above link you can see where the ponds are - you might have to zoom out a little to see all 3. NOTE. for some reason the link is not working properly you will need to copy and paste the whole link. It consists of 3 decent size ponds with platforms and has a good head of fish. It is a members only water and you can buy a season ticket for £15 at the tackle shop in Victoria Road Widnes, about a mile from the woods.

if i was u i wudnt waste ur money on the place its a s*** whole Thats a rather profound statement Dominic would you like to expand on it? The 17 1/2 lb Carp I took on Sunday made the card on its own well worth the money. Do you have any recommendations as to good local venues? Cheers Woody
