After getting a few chub to 4lb on bread last mon evening i decided to have a proper go for them today with the weather going cold. Got there about 9am after being stuck on the m6 for an hour.Set the barbel rod up first with a big feeder halibut groundbait mixed pellets and a boillie thats been soaked in every shitty smelling crap liquid i have for the last 2 years.Out she goes. Set my chub gear up 2oz glass tip cage feeder likky bread and big flake on the hook. I,d really like to say i emptied on the bread but i never had a bite. But this little fella saved the day When i netted it i thought it was a good double with the belly on it but still 9.4 is not bad for a freezing cold morning.
