Dont like the place.
Anyway, Chalky had a good day with about twenty Carp up to 8lb. He also had a nice Bream around the 5lb mark.
I arrived around 9ish to be greeted by the usual rubbish floating around the lake. I was a bit surprised not to see any Lambrini bottles about but surely enough one came a bobbin along about half hour into my session. Oh, and this was followed by a Bic razer.
To add to my pleasure the usual scallies came with their bikes and motorbikes. Then came the animal loving brigade being dragged by their stinking, shitting, slobbering, growling, big teeth a showing fashion accessories.
The place literally stinks of sewage.
If Walton Hall was the last place left on Earth where you could fish I would sell my kit !!!!
PS, I only had one Skimmer about the size of a fifty pence piece

Dave, the last time I fished there was about two years ago. On that occasion the kids pushed a car into the lake and set it on fire.
Its a pity really as the big lake is a lovely mature place and only a five minute walk from mine.
Roll on Sunday for some nice peacefull surroundings.

Neil, Its not the fishing mate. Its the whole place. The lake is full of s***e and the tossers that fly past on the bikes and stuff. Its just not peacefull enough for me. Sometimes its just nice to relax and chill out. I also heard today a club is trying to take it over

I like the place as you dont know what you are going to get next. It can be anything from a Goldfish to a 20lb Carp. You also catch Chubb, Barbel, Golden Tench and Crucians. I ahve never fished the match lake as all I need is in the pleasure lake mate. The also do a tasty sausage sarnie. For members who aint fished this place I say give it a go.
