Fished Lathom for the first time today with a couple of mates, we got there about 7ish and decided to fish the far lake on the left, there was a match on the far side bank so we we fished pegs 21 - 23, I was on 23.
I fished about 8m with Pellet and maggots.
First put in with maggot and off my elastic goes and lost the fish.
Finished up with 4 tench (best just on 4lb), 2 barbel (best 3lb), 2 common carp (best 4lb) a nice 3lbish mirror and loads of chub (best about 1.5lb), also caught a couple of roach.
Caught most of the chub and Roach on maggot but all the other fish on pellet.
I was gutted tho cos I told my mate to get me some more of the pellets I've been using recently and he came back with 6mm (B.A.M flavour, which the fish do like) but they were too soft and big to hook, i would've done a lot better if i hadn't run out of my usual pellets in the first hour, Luckily I kept a handful to one side for hookbait hich is how I managed to still get some good fish throughout the session.
My other two mates had a good day feeder fishing to the island and one of them had a 4.5lb chub.
The match on the other side of the bank looked quite slow and we easily caught more, maybe we were on the better bank.
I have my camera charged for piccies for next time.

Cheers fellas, Gonna try and get to a few more places before it gets too cold.
Putting your day ticket money in a envelope and into a box was a new one on me, very trustworthy there.

Kev,
The tickets are numbered. You keep one and one goes in an envelope with your money.
