He let a club match go ahead on the big lake yesterday and, what with the rain we are due to have this week, I don't think we will have a problem.

i cant see a problem either, the weathers a lot cooler so even if the fish are in relitively low water they should be ok, as a quick question mat, does he have a keepnet for carp and a keepnet for silvers rule?

Dave, Alan said use common sense is alright, so you can use your silver fish keepnet, I think you don't need the carp net.

There's no "two-keepnet" rule Dave so one is all you need. Unless you are planning on catching so many carp that you need two to house them all?
I doubt we will catch many silvers, they all seem to have disappeared since the carp were stocked.

That's the first time I've noticed the 'Sponsored by Ted Carter' thing at the bottom of that sign.
Maybe a bit of pruning is needed to clear stuff from around it.

Dave plenty of parking some rite behind your peg,not sure about depth on the pole line but if you make them long you can shorten them.

dave, 3M out is 1.5 feet, 7M out is 2.5 feet, don't know any futher as my pole is only 8M long. The slope of the bottom is very gentle and constant, I guess at 11M is around 4 feet. Rod and reel is better dave, don't use pole.
