Several problems we have to work out. 1. I think we might need 2 keepnets one for small fish up to 3lb, another one 3lb-8lb, I think not all of us have 2 carp mesh nets right? ( Mathew and me only got one keepnet, it's got the fishing foundation approval but it's not the fine carp mesh one... ) anything bigger need to weigh immediately.. but then how to do it? 2. only half kilo of groundbait... simply not enough!!! 3. Cyprinus, you must be accompanied by an adult!!! who's willing to sit beside him that day?

It's not on the board.. but seem not very good put all size of fish in one keepnet Mathew and me estimated, each of us will easily catch 30lb net, and might need 40 even 50lb to frame. And there're real big fish! Today a bastard manged one mid double, a Jinx lost another mid double to bush, landed a 10lb carp and broke a 2nd section, report will be followed tonite.

I understand now. This is your rule and not the fisherys? The fish wont come to any harm as long as we empty the nets like the rules say.

An issue about the rules has been brought up and people using comman sense,I think everybody fishing the match should stick to the bait restriction "no meat" and limits "half kilo of groundbait" .And feeders to be free running I bought some Middy one today for £1.40 so shouldnt break the bank.
If we all stick to the rules,we all know were we styand and nobody will have an advantage.

Honestly half kilo of groundbait might not enough, especially if we fish the feeder, but keep feeding pole line.
Just use soaked pellet then, not very much difference.
