From Switch Island (Liverpool end of M57 & M58) take the A59 towards Ormskirk before turning left onto the A5147 which will take you through Lydiate. On the other side of Lydiate you will go past the Scotch Piper pub on your left before entering a de-restricted zone. You need to take the next right onto Hall Lane (farm shop on the left, church on the right) After a few hundred yards turn left onto Eager Lane for a few hundred yards more. The fishery is on your left and is signposted on this road. If you cross the canal you have gone too far! Matches are held Wednesday and at weekends but there are usually some pleasure pegs reserved. Tickets £5 a day or £3.50 evenings. Green Lane ponds are a bit further up the road on the right(across the canal). Map

Matt, Good directions, when you click on the map you have to do one click north to bring Eager Lane on to it.
Cheers Woody
